We're turning the heat up with a flash summer sale of our first print issue WE ARE WOMEN – and donating half of our sales to Bloody Good Period.
Last year, we commissioned a group of writers, artists, poets and photographers to submit a piece of work, or works, that they felt captured the essence of being a woman.
What we got was WE ARE WOMEN: comediennes, podcast hosts and rollerskating dancing queens coming together to create stories for everyone. Here they talk about obsessions and fears, hopes and inspiration, falling in love and falling out of it.
WE ARE WOMEN is now more than 50% off for a limited time only, and we're donating half of our sales to Bloody Good Period (BGP), who give menstrual supplies to asylum seekers, refugees and those who can't afford them. With donations, BGP supplies asylum seeker drop-in centres and food banks in London and the UK with menstrual products, and provides long-term menstrual education to those less likely to access it.
Until 31 August 2018, you can buy WE ARE WOMEN for £4, with short stories from the likes of Leesa Cross-Smith and Sara Lippmann, poems from Lauren Milici and Eloisa Amezcua and way, way more, all while helping women across the UK have bloody good periods.
